Putting on weight
From the age of about 31 to about 51 years old, I gradually put on weight year by year through the way I was eating and went from about 80kg to 102.8kg. That means I put on about 23kg gradually year by year for 20 years.
Deciding to follow the keto eating lifestyle
I eventually made the decision that I wanted to loose the excess fat on my body and return to a healthy body weight. I did a lot of research and reading and followed the keto eating lifestyle. It is basically eating a high fat (lots of meat, even fatty meat) and low carbohydrates. Cutting out all processed foods and only eating real meats, veggies and eggs. Trying to avoid eating the veggies that are high in carbs, such as potatoes and cutting out all snacks, sweets, icecream and other desserts. Also not eating rice and bread which are both high in carbs. Basically only eating real food and zero processed foods.
Loosing 19kg
In a period of about a year, I was able to go down from 102.8kg to about 84kg. So I lost about 19kg in a period of about a year. After that I compromised a little and sometimes ate bread and snacks and put on a bit of weight going back up to about 86kg.
Having the right body weight
Earlier this year I returned to my strict eating lifestyle and and once again stopped compromised with snacks and bread and returned to my low carb and high fat keto eating lifestyle. Once again I started to loose weight and went down to 80kg. So I have actually been able to loose a total of about 23kg.

Below is the video of my story of the whole process of how I lost a lot of weight and have returned to a good weight of about 80kg. Yet I think I can still loose a few more kilograms and go down to about 78kg. This would be a really good weight to maintain for my height and age.
