SPIRITUAL WARFARE – HITTITES

Joshua 3:10-11    The living God is among you, and that He will, without fail drive out before you the ……. List of seven tribes.

Let’s look at the second tribe today – the Hittites.

The Hittites were descendants of Heth.

Genesis 10:15

And Canaan begat Sidon his first born, and Heth,

Heth means – FEAR or TERROR, and in these days, more and more, we are seeing Hittites in the land. This generation is compared to Sodom and Gomorrah.

Gomorrah means – “People of fear”.

Gomorrah may be all around us, a violence filled earth, as in the days of Noah. People are living in fear, more and more, but we should not be because the Lord has overcome the spirit of fear.

Look again at Romans 8:15

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. Can you see that the spirit of fear follows the spirit of bondage. These two are connected.

2 Timothy 1:7

 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. (KJV)

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control]. (Amplified)

There were giants among the Hittites. Spirits of fear can be like giants. For example when people have nervous breakdowns.

David being a type of Jesus, no matter how big the spirit of fear is, the Lord knows how to cause the old giant of fear to come tumbling down.

Ephesians 6 – the piece of armor to stand against the spirit of fear.

Ephesians 6:14 b

and having on the breastplate of righteousness; right relationship – right standing with God as a gift. Right relationship with God and with our brothers and sisters and fellow man. So what do we have to be afraid of anyway?

Satan has no grounds.

1 Thessalonians 5:8 says

But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. because we are of the day, we do not need to live in the night of fear. It is speaking of the same breastplate of righteousness, but here called breastplate of faith and love.

Faith and fear do not mix.

1 John 4:18

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

When we are walking in FAITH and LOVE, we already have the victory over the spirit of fear.

Hittites, the spirit of fear. Some words that come to mind when thinking of this spirit are; terrorists, kidnappers, white slavers, illuminati, freemassonary, mafia, Jihad, Martial Arts etc. etc.

Ephesians 1:3

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

So where are we blessed? In heavenly places in Christ.

We engage the enemy in three battlegrounds.

1. Our mind (soul)
2. The church or body of Christ.
3. The heavenlies, or promised land, where God shall set the New Jerusalem.

We are translated beings, the seed of Christ in us, born again nature, and by the Holy Spirit to grow in perfect harmony with our Father.

Little children know the Father.

Young men are war faring and warriors overcoming the adversaries.

Fathers teach the younger ones.

We have to exercise our soul senses ……. To develop the mind of Christ, to know good from evil. To know the Father and supernatural exploits like ascending and descending from heaven by Jesus Christ.

1. Imagination
2. Memory
3. Affection
4. Reason
5. Conscience

It is by our spirit senses that we know the Spirit of Truth from the Spirit of error.

The Spirit Senses are:

1. Faith
2. Hope
3. Love
4. True Worship
5. Intuition/Revelation Knowledge

We really must set ourselves apart from the things of the world.

Affections – our affections must be on heavenly things and not on the pennies of this world. The gold and silver that we lay up in heaven is developing the divine nature of our Father. Our dwelling place not a building but the house of our Father, (our Fathers house) which is far better.

Many who are born-again are content with just having salvation and some get caught up in fear and insecurity, thinking that they may lose their salvation. Yet we must come to this place of being secure in our salvation, knowing that we have been adopted as sons into the family of God. Our salvation is secure and we must come to a place of rest and peace in our faith knowing this truth. But because we are real sons and daughters of our Father, we don’t stop there, we go on to allow the full work of salvation to come to our souls as well and become full overcomers in Christ.

Yet if we do not press in and do the necessary warfare we will not fully overcome in our souls and loose the inheritance of being part of the Bride of Christ and full overcomers, dwellers in the city of God. The foolish virgins and unfaithful servants shall yet be saved but they shall be outside of the city and that shall be their portion for not pressing in to become full overcomers in Christ.

All that has been created is for Jesus and His Bride.

The Hittite tribe are Satan’s channel to hinder and oppose our growth in Christ. They are people of fear that have attitudes such as:

• I don’t need full emersion water baptism, the sprinkling with water was good enough for my ancestors so it’s good enough for me. Fear of man.
• Fearing and disdaining the baptism in the Holy Spirit, saying that the gifts are not for today, that tongues, words of prophecy, words of knowledge, miracles, healings are not for today and always question when people testify of the works and gifts of the Holy Spirit.

The Hittite spirits keeps the people unsanctified through fear.

The Giants for the Hittites are Jezebel and Balaam. They receive their headship and power from the sin nature of fear, and rejection and resentment of God’s people. The prophetess Jezebel teaches Baal religion of fornication. She has abilities to ensnare weak willed pastors/leaders/elders, parents, and children in Christian families, for lack of warfare against her and yielding to Holy Spirit protection such as found in Psalm 91 and Psalm 103 and others.

Elijah failed to complete his mission which was to completely destroy Jezebel. Yet surely a remnant will arise – the Bride of Christ will arise to destroy Jezebel completely and attack the throne of Satan.

Around Satan’s throne are 8 helpers who are used to destroy those who are unsanctified.

Canaanite – Ishmael

Hittite – Jezebel and Balaam

Hivite – Esau

Perizzite – Cain

Girgashite – Korah and Absalem

Amorite – Judas Iscariot

Jebusite – people in the hierarchy of the church who are satain minded, and reprobate political and self-serving to bring in God’s kingdom their soulish way, and not the spiritual way of God’s plan for apostolic divine order.

Jezebel through manipulation and control inverts the divine order to put the women in leadership and subjects Gods chosen leaders to Ahab roles, in churches and families, as we see increasing in secular business and national government. The prophet Balaam also deals with fornication and doctrines of demons. No wonder our children are sensual and sexual instead of spiritual. No wonder homosexuality is rampant and growing worse, increasing the power of Satan’s helpers Jezebel and Balaam. A vast empire of people worshipping a golden baldheaded nude woman, with a sun disc on her forehead, and rings and bracelets of gold. She stands on a pedestal, she is the religion of Babylon, having many names such as; Simirames, Nimrods Mother and wife. Diana of Ephesus, Astarte from which we get easter, Ashtouth, Asherah the groves which Gideon (Jerubabel) pulled down.

She is Satan’s old religion and also the New World Order.

Jesus said “Jezebel must be destroyed and attack the throne of Satan”.

To accomplish this in our lives, we begin by having a relationship with our Father, our Abba Father. We confess the sins of fear, rejection and resentment in our lives, families and nations, we repent of our sins and the blood of Jesus paid the penalty for our sins washes our sins away and delivers us from the power of sin, to cleanse our souls with the blood and the washing of the Word of God and we are made completely clean, we are made completely whole.

We are forgiven in Christ and that strips Jezebel and Balaam from their armor, and we slay them with the word of God.

2 Timothy 1:7

For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power (Holy Spirit) , and of love (our Father), and of a sound mind (the mind of Jesus Christ).

We pull down these strongholds as far as the curse is found. Because Jesus Christ was smitten and by His blood we speak the destruction of these powers and principalities who have lorded it over God’s people.

We speak Isaiah 26:14

They are dead, they shall not live; they are deceased, they shall not rise: therefore hast thou visited and destroyed them, and made all their memory to perish.

Psalm 68: 1-2

Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him.

² As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth  before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.

So the wax statue of Jezebel melted like wax before the fire and the people were set at liberty to rejoice and worship God in spirit of grace and spirit of truth, which is the Holy Spirit. Remember to give Jesus the preeminence in all things and do all things in His Name. The sufferings of Christ cover the sin nature by His blood and give us a tittle deed to the promises in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. The old world is destroyed by Holy Ghost fire and the Hittite empire is burned like the dry grass. The first two tribes deal with fear, which is the strongest emotion in the world today. Fear is conquered by love which is stronger than fear. God’s agape love is a sacrificial love. No enemy man or fear and stand before God’s love. It is our greatest, most powerful weapon. Do all in grace, with love and humility. While Ishmael (Canaanite) attacks your mind (intellect, will and emotions) Jezebel and Balaam attack you sexually and your heart.

• The belt of truth covers your loins (the sexual area of our body and the loins of our minds, where all thoughts and soul senses are created). Sanctify us through thy truth, thy word is truth. Truth as in the Word of truth destroys the members of Satan’s family.
• The breastplate of righteousness covers our heart and vital organs. There is no backplate, so watch your relationships. We have assurance of our salvation, our eternal security as sons and daughters of our Father. God took our sin and placed it on Jesus on Calvary. He imputed righteousness to us. We are not guilty and set free from hell and separation from God. The lords and the power of sin and death are defeated, judicially we have been set free to walk in totally liberty in Christ. Jesus being the mediator of the New Covenant, sets us free. So, if we do fall while we are still maturing in our soul life, we have a mediator whose blood washes away our sins.  We are spirit sinless, yet in our soul is still a battleground for sin and righteousness, our tabernacle or body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. Breastplate, is your relationship with Abba Father. Jesus the lover and betrothed, Holy Spirit is administer of life in Christ Jesus.

Just like Satan has his generals to try and bring, confusion, delusion, accusations, and stumbling around him with the hordes of hell. God also has his generals such as, Joshua, Daniel, Samuel and David, with a strategy to bring us victory.

Psalm 85:10

Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

These are members of our family; Joseph, Job, Jonah, Ananias who opened Saul’s eyes, John the beloved and Stephen the Martyr. James the wise. Each have distinctive lives and ministries which complement each other. Many battles are fought on these two levels:  Justification, where most of the body of Christ is. Then the next level up is the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and fire by Jesus Christ. We should never judge or look down on these warriors who are at these two levels, as many of them will move on with the Lord to the third level, which is divine order. Many will move on and experience the reality of the other five covenant benefits, divine healing, divine health, divine peace rest of God faith, divine power and divine glory.

The Israelites who possessed Canaan land are our example. They were to destroy all of the enemy and tear down their Baal alters and groves (idols) when they failed to fulfill the command the enemy became irritants in the eye and thorns in the flesh.

Sounds like our modern-day sicknesses and diseases, the shadow of death.  Death is the opposite of righteousness. We are to be thorough in the warfare in the heavenlies to the destruction of all the tribes in Canaan land.
